The Ministry of Panchayati Raj (#MoPR) has signed an MoU with #Bhashini, the National Language Translation Mission under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (#MeitY), to make local governance more accessible and inclusive for everyone. This collaboration will help people across rural India access government information in 22 Indian languages, removing language barriers and making it easier to understand schemes, services, and panchayat-related updates. As part of this initiative, more than 16,000 words and terms have already been translated. श्री अभिषेक सिंह, अपर सचिव, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (#MeitY) ने #भाषिणी #Bhashini और पंचायती राज मंत्रालय #MoPR के बीच हुए समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि यह अवसर भारत में डिजिटल समावेशन की दिशा में एक ऐतिहासिक क्षण है। उन्होंने बताया कि पंचायती राज मंत्रालय और भाषिणी के बीच सहयोग पहले से ही सक्रिय रूप से चल रहा था, जिसे इस MoU के माध्यम से अब एक औपचारिक स्वरूप प्रदान किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि भाषिणी परियोजना का उद्देश्य तकनीक के माध्यम से देश के प्रत्येक नागरिक तक उनकी मातृभाषा में सरकारी सेवाएं पहुंचाना है। श्री सिंह ने बताया कि देशभर की लगभग सभी सरकारी वेबसाइटों में भाषिणी द्वारा विकसित भाषायी उपकरणों का उपयोग किया जा रहा है। अब तक इन टूल्स के 100 करोड़ से अधिक प्रयोग (इनफेरेंसेज़) हो चुके हैं, जिनमें से लगभग 15 करोड़ उपयोग अकेले पंचायती राज मंत्रालय के डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म्स के माध्यम से हुए हैं। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि पंचायतों के माध्यम से ग्राम स्तरीय नागरिकों तक डिजिटल सेवाएं तभी प्रभावी रूप से पहुंच सकती हैं, जब भाषा कोई बाधा न बने। यदि किसान, महिला, छात्र या कोई भी ग्रामीण नागरिक अपनी स्थानीय भाषा में, केवल आवाज़ के माध्यम से, मंडी के भाव, सरकारी योजनाएं, राशन, छात्रवृत्ति या पीएम किसान योजना की स्थिति जैसी जानकारी प्राप्त कर सके, तो यही वास्तविक सशक्तिकरण होगा। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि भाषिणी द्वारा विकसित वॉइस-टू-वॉइस और वॉइस-टू-टेक्स्ट टूल्स, न केवल स्मार्टफोन बल्कि फीचर फोन पर भी यह सेवाएं सुलभ बनाते हैं, जिससे डिजिटल सेवाओं की पहुंच और भी व्यापक होती जा रही है। श्री सिंह ने आगे कहा कि पंचायतों की कार्यप्रणाली में सुधार, योजनाओं की सरल भाषा में समझ और डिजिटल रिकॉर्ड संधारण में भाषिणी की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रहेगी। उन्होंने आगामी नवाचारों की ओर संकेत करते हुए कहा कि ‘भाषिणी मित्र’ और ‘भाषिणी प्रवर्तक’ जैसे प्रयास, नागरिकों को उनकी मातृभाषा में डिजिटल सेवाओं से जोड़ने में अहम भूमिका निभाएंगे। अपने समापन वक्तव्य में उन्होंने आश्वस्त किया कि इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय #MeitY तथा भाषिणी #Bhashini की टीम इस साझेदारी को सफल बनाने के लिए हरसंभव सहयोग करती रहेगी। #DigitalInclusion #eGramSwaraj #DigitalIndia #PanchayatiRaj #eGovernance #LanguageInclusive
