In this #H2020 project #aimenct applies #AI to design and select most suitable HEAs to be manufactured and applied using #lasercladding and laser metal deposition. We also participate in the development of #sensors to #monitor temperature & #corrosion in industrial components.
Due to high speeds and heavy loads, the Roller Shaft of trains and locomotives gradually suffer severe damage. Using laser cladding technology to repair damaged wheels can greatly reduce the waste of materials compared with traditional repair methods.
