#FIRST, the workshop featured Professor Braj Bhushan from IIT Kanpur, who played a key role in introducing the Assistive Application for Children with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia (
#AACDD). This tool aims to assist pre-primary children in overcoming learning difficulties, showcasing IIT Kanpur’s commitment to addressing educational challenges through innovative solutions.
Professor Bhushan explained that AACDD is a training module for children in classes 1 to 5, integrating visual, auditory, and haptic feedback to teach Hindi letters. The app offers three levels—tracing, jigsaw puzzles, and word writing—helping children enhance their reading and writing skills in an engaging and effective way.
The workshop brought together educators, parents, and stakeholders to highlight the importance of early diagnosis and intervention. Dr. Mukta Pandey, Principal of the college, welcomed attendees, while Prof. Anita Singh distributed certificates. Directors of Cute Brains, Mr. Manas Sinha and Mr. Gyan Prakash, shared their vision to expand such initiatives across India to support more children with learning challenges.
