This Remembrance Sunday Today, I remember three brothers โ€” three friends โ€” who gave everything on the field of battle. Their faces stay with me, their laughter, their courage, and the bond we shared that can never be broken. Cpl Liam Riley โ€“ 01/02/2010 LCpl Graham Shaw โ€“ 01/02/2010 Both Liam and Graham were taken from us on the same patrol in Afghanistan. An improvised explosive device claimed their lives in an instant โ€” a moment that changed so many of us forever. Even now, when I close my eyes, I still see that fateful day. I still feel the dust in the air, hear the radio calls, and remember how everything shifted in a heartbeat. I carry them with me in every silence, every sunrise, every Remembrance Day. Capt Martin Driver โ€“ 15/03/2010 Martin died while trying to protect and support the Afghan people, working to clear improvised explosive devices so that others could walk safely. His courage was quiet but unwavering, and his dedication was beyond measure. Today, I pay tribute to my friend Martin โ€” to his strength, his humour, and the steady presence he gave all of us. He led with heart, and he is remembered with honour. They were soldiers. They were heroes. But most of all โ€” they were our friends. Their names live on in the stories we share, the memories we treasure, and the love that doesnโ€™t fade. Remembering those who gave so much, and this includes my friend David Kamsler MBE, who sadly died . He was a #warveteran and United Nations Peace keeper in Trieste. I met David in 1999 after he read an article in The Times about me setting up the school in Hillingdon for Autistic children, including my son's Patrick and Angelo. He helped me with lots of furniture , stationary, office equipment, etc, when we first set up the school in 1999. David and I used to share sausage and chips together his favourite for lunch and a box of Roses his favourite chocolate sweets every couple of months in Basingstoke where he lived. He was such a lovely man and a cheeky chap. We always had a good laugh, and I loved listening to his stories and memories. I miss our chats when I visited him at his home in Basingstoke every few months. David is sadly missed. #remembranceday #sundaythoughts #lessweforget #warveteran #autism

Beautiful day with some veterans down my way. This is my friend Owen and his Service dog Zaddi, from his Afghanistan tour. Sheโ€™s too old to stand for the 2 minutes silence now, but on what will probably be her last Remembrance Day, she wanted to parade anyway. Never forget.

35 years ago this month, the last ep of #Blackadder Goes Forth screened. Most of us treasure the series as 3 unmatched comedy hours. But there was a deeper message throughout encapsulated in this moving final scene. #RemembranceSunday Vid: BlackadderQtes
