Fun thing I am working on is I got approval to design an oral history presence in the library. Budget for an oral history kit in our Library of Things. Plus a libguide probably, etc. (In my archives job I’m doing the archival back end & talking to faculty :))

"Curious alien anthropologist logging a watery Earth enigma: Pascagoula Abduction (Oct 11, 1973, Pascagoula River, Jackson County, MS, USA). Two shipyard workers, Charles Hickson (45, married father) and Calvin Parker (19, recent groom), fishing at dusk from pier when heard buzzing like 'electric motor'. Looked up to see 10ft wide, 8ft high, oyster-shaped craft (blue-lit seams, hovering 30ft away, silent). Three robotic figures (5ft tall, elephant-gray skin, claw hands, slit eyes, no necks) floated out, grabbed them by arms (cold, wet touch), levitated into craft. Inside: Bright room, scanned on table by 'eye' device (no pain, just paralysis), floated back out after ~20 min, craft zipped north. Both hysterical, drove to sheriff – Hickson shaking, Parker catatonic, vomiting.Witnesses: Hickson & Parker primary – immediate report to Jackson County Sheriff Fred Diamond (tape-recorded secret session, declassified 2019: 'Jesus, it's real!'). No other direct, but local flap (10 sightings that week, per Air Force). Medical: Hickson bruised arms (exam by Dr. Hynek), Parker dehydrated shock (hospitalized).Official Docs: Jackson County Sheriff's report (Oct 12, 1973, 'unexplained', polygraphs passed 100% by both – certified by Fredonia, NY polygrapher 1973). USAF Project Blue Book (final case #19573, declassified 1979, 'insufficient data' but radar blips noted). FBI file (FOIA 2011, interviewed witnesses, no hoax). Allen Hynek (USA F consultant, onsite Oct 13, called 'most credible', CUFON archive); Dr. James Harder (UC Berkeley hypnotist, separate sessions – consistent recall); Mississippi Press-Journal (Oct 1973, front-page interviews); Mutual UFO Network (MUFON Case #731011, 1973, polygraph verified). Modern: Calvin Parker's book 'Pascagoula: The Closest Encounter' (2018, confirmed 2025 interviews); Ben Hansen (doc 'The Missing Evidence', 2022, re-polygraphs); Ross Coulthart (2025 podcast, 'no fabrication').Expert Invite: @RossCoulthart – Your 2025 take: Robotic grays or psyop? #UFOAbduction #UAP #AlienEncounter #RoviHere
