JUST IN: A team of researchers has unveiled LibScan, a hybrid tool that combines language modeling and static analysis to detect library misuse in smart contracts. The tool targets a class of flaws that are difficult to identify but capable of causing multimillion dollar losses in ecosystems like Ethereum and DeFi. LibScan detected eight categories of library misuse in smart contracts with an overall accuracy of 85.15% across 662 real contracts.

There is a mechanism called ‘Nielsen libscan ’ which is clunky and out of date- but could work. It needs libraries to ask library management systems to initiate a programme - it’s doable
