Is Binge Eating Disorder worse than getting fired⁉️ Well it depends on so many things. But in either case, finding Courage & Resilience to get through these moments in life is hard. 💯 But how do you define 'Courage and Resilience'? The only way I know how is through vulnerable stories. 🙏🏾 And some of the most inspiring speakers I know, and the most powerful TEDx talks I've seen, have featured some gut-wrenching, jaw-dropping, and awe-inspiring stories. When you hear them, someone out there doesn't feel alone. Someone doesn't feel hopeless. Someone find a new way to get through what they're dealing with. 🙌🏽 That's why over the years, I've tried openly talking about my struggles in my journey: - binge eating, diabetes, weight loss and body image - parenting in a neurodivergent family - the struggles of entrepreneurship and going broke - mental health, burnout, and stress - toxic trolls and cyberbullying - dealing with racism, bigotry, and prejudice When I first met my friend Joze Piranian, he was dealing with a debilitating stutter, but found a way to grow his career, become a standup comedian, and now a 5x TEDx speaker and deliver world-class keynotes. My other friend Dr. Samra Zafar endured an abusive child marriage, but persevered to write a best-selling book and is now a reknowned speaker.
