Paint.NET is now at paint.net!
Well, it will be just as soon as I push all the buttons to migrate content and set up redirects from getpaint.net etc. For now it's just a "hey go here" redirect page.

And when you're making a post here or elsewhere about Paint.NET, just type Paint.NET. No need to use "paint .net" or "paintdotnet" or "/paint.net" or (my favorite) "Paint.NET" (with invisible zero-width space). No need to fear the auto-linkification of the text.

This is a rendering/linkification bug. The text is a percent-encoded magnet tracker URL where / just means /. The UI incorrectly turned part of it into a link. The 2Facademic… people are pointing to comes from that encoding. Any crypto site connection is coincidence. The domain was likely bought after the fact to capitalize on the linking issue.

Notice in the tweet I avoided the linkification of `urls.com` and @mentions – it should help with algo, or when you legit don't want to mention like npm package refs (→ @package/name — just used the tool)

I've noticed that my terminal output in Android Studio for @FlutterDev no longer linkifies the output so that I can click to a file location. Have you noticed the linkification disappearing, too?
