I'll be completely honest: I've always felt that you guys in the influencer boxing scene valued the "spectacle" and "views" side of things more than the actual boxing. A lot of people have come out recently talking about how influencer boxing is a complete circus now. Even if it is still really popular, the problem is that the matchmaking and the level of skill displayed in the influencer fights (not MFPro) has been shockingly bad as of late. I know you guys want influencer boxing to be more similar to the WWE than actual professional boxing. I get that. However, you can't act surprised if people call it a "clown show" or "dead" because the fights are absolutely dead. The last truly great Misfits event was Misfits 019. Before that, it was Misfits 012. Before that, the Prime Card. There have only been 3 great influencer boxing events in almost 3 years. By "great", I don't mean that they sold well; I mean that they had genuinely entertaining fights between evenly matched fighters that were of a decent level, not lunatics who don't know how to throw a proper punch, defend themselves, or last 2 rounds without gassing out completely. It's not just Misfits that's guilty of this, too. Jake Paul has also lost his way. When fighting Woodley, Silva, and Fury, his fights naturally attracted attention due to the fact that they were not easy fights. Now, fighting 58-year-old Mike Tyson, 135-pound Gervonta Davis (almost), and 40-year-old out-of-rehab Chavez Jr., it feels like everything in influencer boxing is more about spectacle than genuine, high-level (for influencers, at least), 50-50 boxing matches that are entertaining purely because they're good matches, not because the idea of two 400-pound men fighting each other with the risk of having a heart attack in the ring is intriguing. We need good fights again. The Golden Age of influencer boxing (late 2022 - late 2023) is long gone because we don't get the fights we want anymore. This is the exact reason everyone tuned off from professional boxing and started watching Misfits back then. Things have completely flipped over since the Prime Card ended. Where is Gib vs Ferguson? Till vs Froch? Deji vs Alex Wassabi 2? Deji vs Jarvis? FoxTheG vs DeenTheGreat? KSI vs anybody decent? Salt Papi vs anybody decent? It feels like everyone abandoned the ship once it started sinking, and it's practically a wasteland now, so you guys have to make up for it by including circus shows like Jordan McCann vs Ibiza Final Boss. The whole thing needs a revamp. Just make good events with good matchups between good fighters. It really shouldn't be that hard considering how many people are signed to your promotion.

I was highly disappointed in Dan Toward’s performance. The frustrating part was that he finally showed his class in the last two rounds. Once he sat down on his punches and took the initiative, the difference in skill was obvious. But for most of the fight, he looked like a man driving with one foot on the gas and the other on the brake. Too hesitant. Too cautious. Too concerned about what might come back. Maybe there are still a few ghosts rattling chains in the attic after that knockout loss. Anyway, I thought the draw was fair. On the other hand, Sikho Nqothole delivered exactly the kind of performance I expected. Tough, disciplined, and determined from the opening bell. The biggest surprise wasn’t the performance. It was the scorecards. For once, the judges didn’t seem interested in creative writing. I had it 116-112 for Nqothole. Against the odds, against the geography, and against the expectations, the South African walked into hostile territory and left with the result he earned. A tremendous victory. #EdwardsNqothole #TowardCorrie #OsborneCooper #WellandKassim #BrawlHall #MFPRO #Boxing #Boxeo #BettingOdds

💰 Money Play 🏧 Dan Toward vs Jak Corrie James Osborne vs Ollie Cooper 🥊 Dan Toward is only 24 years old, but came into the pro ranks with serious expectations attached to his name. Team GB pedigree. 10x national amateur champion. Managed by Sam Jones. Not a devastating puncher, but technically sound with crisp combinations and solid fundamentals. That knockout loss last year could’ve shattered him, mentally, but to his credit, he’s responded well with 3 consecutive victories since then. That tells me something about his mentality. For Wako Jako, the record shines brighter than the actual film. Mediocre amateur background. Serious shoulder injuries nearly ended his career before it really began. Doctors even advised him to stop boxing altogether. He didn’t fight for two years before turning pro in 2024. Stylistically, Corrie looks a little clunky to me. Wider punches, slower hands. Decent body puncher, but I think Toward’s sharper technique and cleaner combinations should expose those openings repeatedly over the course of the fight. Unless Toward’s confidence completely collapses under pressure again then I think he will be the more polished operator here. Now, on to the next leg on this parlay. James Osborne might officially be listed at 34, but the paperwork and the face are having a serious disagreement 😅 Having said that…the old fella can still fight a bit. Won that 3-fight tournament back in April, and you can still see the advantages - better technical skill, sharper hands, more compact work. He looks like a guy who’s seen every kind of pub fight boxing can produce. Now Ollie Cooper has the physical advantages on paper. 9 years younger, 6’4 - a massive seven-inch height edge. Problem is… He moves like somebody trying to box in wet cement. Tall target. Slow reactions. Long levers that don’t always come back home in time. And against a shorter veteran with quicker hands? That can turn into a lot of reaching and getting clipped in between. Now, add in the reality that Osborne’s the A-side, being managed by Lee Eaton, one of Queensberry’s chief matchmakers. This means that rounds probably aren’t drifting toward the giant. This is my Churchill double this week 💨 ML wins = 161 #EdwardsNqothole #TowardCorrie #OsborneCooper #WellandKassim #BrawlHall #MFPRO #Boxing #Boxeo #BettingOdds
