I am delighted to share an article I've written for the European Association for Palliative Care.
Give it a read to learn how #MLHB was made after Mary died, and what making the film taught me about dying and grief.
Thank you @EAPCvzw for sharing Mary's story with your network
Human Sciences Students Freshman and transfer students! Come get to know each other and your department at the HUSC pizza party this Wednesday. It will be hosted the 16th from 11:30 to 1:30 in the MLHB courtyard.
Great article Matthew, I remember reading that back when doing research for #MLHB. The Guardian have done some good ones over the years. I like this poster by @emmaosullivan0. Really good breakdown that shows why war metaphors shouldn't be the default language used by the media
Mark, thank you for taking the time to watch and give feedback. I completely agree that the choice of the ill/dying person is #1. My hope for #MLHB is that it encourages other people to think and ask the ill/dying person what they would like, rather than assuming. Thank you again
Incredibly moving film tribute of @oisinliampower mother, Mary who challenges us to look at the language of living with cancer. So artistically done with the paintbrush also telling the story alongside. One talented film maker! @bbcarts#BBC4#MLHB

Huge thank you @amateuradam for retweeting about #MLHB and taking the time to watch the short film tonight. Mary was a pharmacist and gave me your book "This is Going to Hurt", back when it came out. Still thankful I eventually opted to study English rather than Medicine!
Tune in to BBC4 tonight at 22:25 and see @huwstephens presenting Screengrabbed Too. Plenty of great short films from emerging artists will be shown, including Mary Lost Her Battle! #mlhb
