通常仕様の範囲でmswindowsが必要な場面はほぼなく、社内統制の条件か製造現場のソフト条件でそれがあるくらいの今ではそれをわざわざ買う理由がもう既にない。
linuxかosxで事足るのにwindowsにカネを払う理由を考えるほうが面倒くさいという。。

You could write a multithreaded program in Linux, demo to the customer in MSWindows, and then deploy to Solaris servers.
You’re not even going to get your code in any other language to compile on all three platform before the contract is up.

I would never trust a voting machine with any version of MSwindows. They should have been loaded with a small kernal linux OS, or some obscure OS.

Ehh, anche affidare l'intero Stato a MSWindows e MSOffice senza sapere cosa ci fa con i nostri dati sensibili non è una grande trovata, stante #LINUX e #OpenSource ormai da 25 anni.
Spazio di libertà ce n'è, basta usare gli strumenti giusti.

Go初心者やったから枠一覧を取得するテストファイルにfoo_windows_test.goって名前つけたら一生実行されなくなって、隣の席の救世主がファイル名にwindowsがついてるとwindowsでしか実行されなくなるの教えてくれた。ひとりやったら一生解決できんかったかもしれん助かった💦
