Microbit is cool. Has good sensors, LED matrix, Bluetooth etc. However my beef is how difficult they’ve made the connector pins. 3 are large but the rest are tiny. To connect more stuff you have to get an adapter like sparkfun adapter, makerbit adapter etc etc.

In the DREAM Studio and Math Lab, 4th grade is working on their “Pizza Box Projects.” Math and technology are combined as students code the MakerBit and MicroBit circuit boards which control lights, sound, sensors, and motors to build a project.

Nosotros usamos el mp3 en OTTO DIY para que hable y la makerbit apenas se oye mientras que la OpenSmart se escucha mejor. Eso sí, si quieres potencia le tienes que meter un altavoz externo con amplificador. 📻

Looks like a musical instrument modulated by some lasers and photoresistors. I see what looks like relays maybe, controlled by a microbit attached to a makerbit. Kinda like an Air Harp I’m thinking 🤔 such a cool ideas. @csteachersorg @CSforCA @CSTACADesert

Now added the ultrasonic sensor to the #makerbit smartcar and it stops if an object is blocking it!
