October 20th 1985 was the release of the Sega Mark III, which would later lead to the Master System. Originally, my dad bought a Power Base Convertor to play MS games after we had already owned a Genesis. I only read about it in magazine ads, and later on the Internet. Both Master System and Saturn were mythological to me, so I sought after both when I had the means to. Digging into the archive from 2013 again for this photo.
