Welcome Our #Intern, Avery Dittmer! Avery is joining our #Repair #Restoration team as a #StructuralEngineering Intern. He is currently enrolled in the @PittTweet Swanson School of Engineering @PittEngineering, pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in #CivilEngineering with a Minor in #Architecture Design and a Certificate of #Sustainability. Last summer, he completed an internship with ECS, during which he performed construction materials testing, including the testing of concrete and soils. Avery spent his early childhood in Richmond and has been in the DC area since age 10. He says he pursued a career in structural engineering because he has always loved math, as well as buildings and the processes that go in to creating them.
