I earned this certificate in OB/GYN coding including 15 new codes (several introduced for various types of immunoglobulin A nephropathies), 9 revised & 2 deletions for the 2024 year under Chapter 14 (Diseases of the Genitourinary System) as well as 6 new codes under Chapter 15 (Pregnancy, childbirth & the puerperium). We covered about 30 codes for various types of hysterectomies, touched upon rape, several codes for vaginal repair, abortion services, hemorrhage codes post-abortion versus "other postpartum hemorrhages," episiotomy & all sorts of "fun stuff" that comes with pregnancy, & if that wasn't enough for one evening, I also learned that having more than 5 lifetime sexual partners can put a woman at high risk of cervical cancer. 🤯 (so think about THAT before you "swipe 📲right" ladies!) 😱I believe I promptly told the hottest guy I know that I'm considering a lifestyle of celibacy but I'm totally not traumatized whatsoever!😃😃😃
