idk why my brain went mr2 but I was thinking the first gen tt was midengine. all the good r8 specs are taxed to fuck now. Would dare to say if you want the gated experience, lamborghini and ferrari are a more compelling buy these days.

I'm guessing it is a front midengine car. Something from Infinity or Lexus. You did say car so that technically rules out the Infinity mid engine crossover/SUVs. Can't get closer than that.

Okay okay to clarify, XJ220 and their Midengine cars are the exception. They just cant make a Front engine look good. The E-type being an amazing handling car and fun to drive doesnt change the fact it looks like a cat fish

This drives me nuts because it's so outside the whole point of the original Autobianchi A112 Runabout. It's meant to be cheap, midengine fun and became the X1/9, the OG of cheap midengine fun. Half a million dollars ain't it.

I remember that very well. Great idea. I think they had to move the firewall forward. And it was presented in Florida and Journos were only allowed to a maximum of 30 mph. There 4.0/4.2 V8 would have fitted very well? I think there is nearly no market for a Diesel midengine Supercar. Less drama, less emotion and nobody cares about fuel economy .
