[Research] Decoding Meis1-DNA Link: Key to Genetic Mutations
Prof. Juyong Lee’s team from the College of Pharmacy has discovered how the transcription factor Meis1 interacts with DNA. Their findings enhance our understanding of how single nucleotide mutations in transcription factors can lead to dysfunctional transcription and disease.

Honored to present the 2023 AMMA Medal to Prof. David Winkler @drdavewinkler on behalf of AMMA for his groundbreaking work in molecular modelling at #AMMA_MM2023 in Wollongong. A deserved recognition of his remarkable contributions to the field! 🏅 #MolecularModelling#Excellence
We are delighted to welcome Dr Ignacio Viciano into the team. As a Senior Scientist, he is responsible for designing novel molecules within our drug discovery projects. He has extensive experience in #molecularmodelling and in silico #drugdiscovery across industry and academia.
Great to see our PhD student giving talks at international conferences this summer!
Last week Audrey presented her work on 'Molecular dynamics of realistic biochar models with controlled microporosity' at the Bio-char III conference in Tomar, Portugal
