Year 3 have been celebrating the theme ‘My Community’ for My Money Week this week! We looked at how money moves through our community by using Google Maps to locate and map out stores in Sutton. We then identified the services they provide. #MPPAMaths #MyMoneyWeek

It was a pleasure to welcome pupils from Osmani primary school in my constituency for an event hosted by @youngenterprise to mark #MyMoneyWeek, a national campaign for financial education.We also had a fun time touring the Palace of Westminster with their brilliant teachers.

As a part of My Money Week, we discussed the different between a want and a need when it comes to buying items with our own money. We chose a toy and worked out how much we needed to save each week to purchase the toy in 5 weeks time💰💸 #mymoneyweek
