Someone close to me got this text tonight & was worried that it was either a scam or GP asking them to create a Covid pass. Never gave this company their details. 🤔

...ex-military types who don't seem to realise that to process #PersonalData, they're legally REQUIRED to have a #PrivacyNotice. How the fuck a #chatbot without any sort of Privacy Notice got into the #NHSAppsLibrary, I dunno. But it just shows how shit those 'standards' are!

TBH, I'm not sure the #NHSAppsLibrary is the right place for the @NHSX/@GCHQ app - which just redirects you to the #AppStores in any case.

It’s great for @hello_pando that they got listed but it also means we need @NHSDigital to share their strategy for #NHSAppslibrary as it now includes a mix of citizen facing clinician facing apps. Need #transparency for all involved to avoid confusion #NHS #digital

Hmm. Talk in the UK of "#streamlining" approvals for #MedicalDevices (read: '#AI & data-driven #HealthTech') is equally worrying. The #NHSAppsLibrary has repeatedly demonstrated the risks of basing approvals on (notions of) "#safety" rather than proven #efficacy.
