First, we’re going to expand our key initiatives: #NYCReads, #NYCSolves, Student Pathways, and NYCPS Cares.   We’re reimagining and expanding literacy and math instruction, offering high-demand career pathways for high schoolers, and creating a culture of care in our communities.

Through #NYCSolves, we’re helping students build strong mathematical and problem-solving skills. #NYCSolves is now in approximately 400 high schools and 100 middle schools, and it’s coming to 84 more middle schools in the 2025–26 school year.
