As an agency, we ALWAYS have overdue invoices. No matter how you slice it. This number use to be WAYYY higher until this tactic helped us fix it: 1. Charge 50% upfront. 2. 25% Net30 3. 25% Net60 This will help you predict your income and if you can get clients on autopay here, you're golden. We use to do milestone based, but there are so many potential blockers that can cause bloat (waiting on client approvals, revisions...) this ensures you get paid on time. Learned this from the homie, @yayasview a while back!

The screenshot shows the Mediavine dashboard. Mediavine is an AdX reseller & managed adops company. The website earns via ad impressions at a CPM/RPM rate (revenue per 1000 views) so yes their ad units pay them on impression. Mediavine pays net60 based on AdX SSP earnings.

It's actually way more common than you think. I work as a Photographer/Videographer. Pay for us is usually Net30 from corporate and commercial gigs. There have been times where it's been Net60. Good clients will get it in sooner than the date requested though.
