🎉 Introducing the NetClan Weekly Quiz Challenge Scenario Edition! We're kicking things off with a real-world troubleshooting scenario that separates the theorists from the practitioners. 🔧 SCENARIO : A junior network engineer is configuring a new Cisco access switch. She configures the following: Fa0/1–10 → VLAN 10 (Sales) Fa0/11–20 → VLAN 20 (HR) Observed Behavior: ✅ Sales workstations obtain DHCP addresses and communicate normally, intra-VLAN and inter-VLAN. ❌ HR workstations (VLAN 20) do not receive DHCP addresses. When configured with static IPs in the correct subnet, HR PCs can ping each other successfully, but get ""Destination Host Unreachable"" when pinging their default gateway. show vlan brief shows both VLANs active with ports correctly assigned, everything looks fine. So where exactly is the fault hiding? 👀 Drop your answer in the comments. #NewSeries #Networking #CCNA #NetClan #LadiesInNetworkEngineering #NetworkTroubleshooting #WeeklyQuizChallenge"

Happy New Month & Happy Workers Day. 🛠️🌱 May begins today — and it opens with a celebration of the people who never stop working so the world never stops connecting. Someone woke up at 3AM to fix a routing issue so your Monday morning Zoom call didn't fail. Someone spent their weekend configuring VLANs, debugging ACLs, and patching firmware — so your hospital's patient records stayed online. Someone's hands built the network that connected a student in Lagos to a world-class lecture in London. As we step into a new month, we celebrate the network engineers, infrastructure architects, and IT professionals who keep the world connected silently, tirelessly, and with extraordinary skill. At The NetClan, we're building the next generation of these heroes, one CCNA, one cohort, one career at a time. To every engineer working today, you are seen. And this month, we're building more of you. 🌐 🔗 thenetclan.org #HappyNewMonth #WorkersDay #NetworkEngineering #TheNetClan #WomenInTech #ITCareers #HappyWorkersDay #TechForGood #AfricaTech

He is risen. And so are we. 🌿 Happy Easter from The Netclan. Easter is a reminder that no connection is ever truly lost that restoration is possible, that what seemed finished can be made new. At The Netclan, that's the story we live every day. We build engineers. We open doors that were never meant to be closed. We plant the belief in a young woman in Lagos, Nairobi, or Accra that she belongs in a room full of routers and rack servers and then we walk her into that room. Every certification earned. Every career launched. Every mentorship conversation that changed someone's trajectory — that's our version of resurrection. That's what new life looks like in network engineering. To every member, mentee, mentor, and volunteer carrying this mission with us Happy Easter. 🌸 May this season restore whatever has felt depleted in you. May it reconnect what was lost, and signal the start of something you've been quietly working toward. From all of us at The Netclan 🤍 🔗 thenetclan.org #HappyEaster #Easter2026 #TheNetclan #NetworkEngineering #LiNE #WomenInTech #WomenInNetworking #AfricaTech #CCNAJourney #TechCommunityAfrica #NewBeginnings

Happy New Month, NetClan Community! 🎯 March has arrived, and with it comes 31 fresh opportunities to level up. Here's what I've learned in network engineering that applies to everything: the best networks aren't built in a day. They're configured, tested, optimized, and refined over time. Your career? Same principle. This month, let's shift our focus from grand plans to simple execution: → Stop waiting for the "perfect time" to start that certification prep → Stop overthinking that project you've been postponing → Stop doubting whether you belong in those advanced conversations → Start showing up consistently, even when motivation is low → Start asking questions without fear of judgment → Start building in public and sharing your learning journey March isn't about reinventing yourself, it's about becoming more intentional with the version of you that already exists. So here's my challenge: Pick ONE thing you've been putting off and take action on it this week. Not next month. Not when you "feel ready." This week. What's that one thing for you? Let's create some accountability in the comments 👇 #March2026 #TheNetClan #NetworkEngineering #TechCareers #NewMonth #CareerDevelopment #IntentionalGrowth
