Kangaroo Island Community Education float test their Rig ahead of their deployment on the restored oyster reef off Kingscote #STEMeducation#networkblue
Professional photos taken by the students at Portside Christian College at their Rig deployment as part of our school program #NetworkBlue. The school is situated right next to the Port River near the mangroves.

Last week we held our very first Rig build teachers workshop at @icadelaide as part of our school program, #NetworkBlue. The skills that were learnt can now be transferred into the classroom so educators can better support their students learning #TechForGood#STEMeducation
Whyalla High School students float test their rig in a backyard pool😁Before the rig is deployed in the ocean students learn how good their water proofing skills are🌊 #networkblue
1/4 Take a dive into cuttlefish heaven🎥😍 (yes this place exists) right here in the Upper Spencer Gulf marine park in South Australia. This camera has been deployed as part of our student-led citizen science program #NetworkBlueyoutu.be/92Ogdw8lUmU
Super excited to be expanding our school program #NetworkBlue into regional South Australian schools. This deployment truly showcases the benefits to regional communities who collaborate on real world #STEM projects.
#Cuttlefish come to Whyalla every year to breed, with tourists scuba diving and snorkelling among the cephalopods. Now Whyalla High School students will be able to watch too without even leaving their classroom. ab.co/3pd1J6x#citizenscience@abcadelaide@ausocean
We’re down at the Port River today to build a #shellfishreef with Estuary Care Foundation & Portside Christian College under the rig built by students as part of #networkblue 🛠 Such an amazing collaboration between schools, non profits & community 🌊 #STEMeducation#oceantech
Congratulations to @YankalillaAS & @icadelaide students 👏🏻👏🏻 Unfortunately due to current COVID19 restrictions students couldn’t be involved in their rig deployment. Nonetheless, they should be very proud of their involvement in our school program #NetworkBlue
Great to see students tackling some electronics as part of our school program #networkblue The first rig controller has been attempted by @icadelaide 👏🏻👏🏻 #STEMinschools
Some decent fouling on Portside Christian College’s rig. This rig was deployed in August last year in the Port River Inner Harbour. This rig was built by students as part of our student-led citizen science program #NetworkBlue#studentsinSTEM
Learning so much about #oceantech with @ausocean and the launch of the #networkblue school program. Such an important component of #marinescience yet completely absent in a marine biology degree? 🤷🏼♀️
