A 17-year-old student, William Moore Jr., has made history by earning his private pilot’s license before finishing high school. He trained through the OBAP Aerospace Career Education (ACE) Academy, where he built his aviation foundation and prepared for solo flights. On his 17th birthday, he successfully completed his first solo flight and passed his FAA exam, officially becoming a licensed private pilot.
Moore’s achievement highlights his dedication and discipline at a young age, especially in a field where early certification is rare. He now plans to continue his aviation journey and eventually become either a commercial airline pilot or a cargo pilot, aiming to inspire more young people to explore careers in aviation.
