📈Great data here demonstrating burden of administration on clinicians already working at capacity for patient demand. #digital solutions exist it would be great to see national funding and a #onceforScotland approach

Yup, and if you’re simultaneously employed by two NHS Trusts you have to do all the annual mandatory training in both - two fire lectures, two moving and handling sessions, two information governance packages. #OnceForScotland please!
…where it is checked that I am me, have a medical degree, and am registered with the GMC. It would be pretty difficult to get as far as I have without these… 🤷♀️ One of the unique frustrations of being a DiT in NHS 🏴 There’s got to be a more streamlined way!! #onceforscotland
And a senior manager and senior doctor in @abhscp both stated
'He was poking people with a 2 meter distancing stick'
which is untrue, slurs and denigrates my professional reputation.
But there's no route to appeal. #OnceForScotland@NHSwhistleblowr@peter__duffy@colinbro
Could not agree more with this! Whilst advancing technology/diagnostics is important, we cannot jeopardise our already stretched diagnostic services - need a unified approach with appropriate diagnostic guidelines that works for our patients #onceforscotland#genomics
Results from @BritSocHaem Laboratory SIG UK SIHMDS survey - majority of clinicians see a limited role for WGS in diagnosis of blood cancers. Still a research tool and critical to not jeopardise the overall integrity of SIHMDS reporting by fragmenting the service model. #BSH2023
Amazing to see @GenomicsEngland research datasets and collaborations continuing to bear fruit 🧬 🚀 This @nature paper identifies 19 novel rare disease gene associations. As ever thanks to both researchers and participants 🙏🏼 nature.com/articles/s41591-0…
Great to hear it's still useful. It's being reviewed and will also be added to #OnceforScotland@AhpDementia resources 😊. I was just thinking that re the cake (and coffee) - will email tomorrow!
