And…the Mayor’s revision of OPCD’s #OneSeattlePlan doubles down on housing along dangerous arterials. I wonder if citizen feedback on the plan will move the plan toward more dispersed density. (Noting that urbanist twitter is probably not representative.)

After listening to friend Rico talk about the #OneSeattlePlan on ARC Seattle, the problem is clear. The constituency that drove the plan is wrong at the core. It’s designed to reassure current residents that the status quo will more or less remain. 1/3

The proposed #oneseattleplan is so NOT the bold move @CityofSeattle needs to make to address the housing crisis and the climate emergency. As Matt points out, it’s a step in the opposite direction.
