Today, the University of New York Tirana had the pleasure of hosting Assoc. Prof. Elona Marku from the University of Cagliari, who delivered an insightful lecture titled “How Do Technologies Emerge? Exploring Complexity, Structure, and Evolutionary Trajectories.”
The session was organized within the framework of the Diaspora4Innovation project, funded by EU4Innovationand implemented by GERMIN, which aims to strengthen academic collaboration between diaspora scholars and Albanian higher education institutions.
This open lecture, addressed to the academic staff of the Faculty of Economy and Business, traced the journey of a top-tier publication from initial conception to final acceptance. The detailed exploration of this process proved especially valuable for early-career researchers and junior faculty members at UNYT.
Prof. Marku’s contribution is part of a broader initiative to co-develop academic content, mentor faculty, and enhance the university’s capacity in entrepreneurship and innovation.
This event represents a concrete step in our partnership with EU4Innovation and GERMIN, showing that academic mobility and diaspora engagement serve as vital drivers of knowledge exchange and institutional development
