🍷Wine is just MAGIC! Windows programs shouldn't feel this "at home" on Linux, but it makes it work.
I've gotten foobar2000, OpenMPT, FL Studio, the Roland JV-1080 VST (Roland Cloud), and an old MIDI editor to work almost perfectly here. I now use CachyOS most of the time. 👍🏻

I’ve been working on music for my Harold game. Obsessively cramming it into 130K …yes, over two minutes of music.
A retro game needs a legit #chiptune right?
Thanks to @OpenMPT and #milkytracker this is still possible to do for games built with @defold

not sure what this is about but here's a stitched screenshot of the mixing session for Snow Satellite
(the song was originally composed in OpenMPT)
this is not the final session due to this poor project keeping crashing (dont use synthv vst), but yeah witness my beautiful 'lofi to study' (not the real title)
