It's still a male hobby that's male dominated regardless. Romance Novels and Soap Operas are majorly dominated by women and you don't see men complaining about being the minority in those hobbies. It all comes down to interest and a majority of women don't have interest in games.
If gaming was always a male hobby, then what exactly was I doing for the last 30 years?
If a man plays video games, it's a hobby. If a woman plays video games, what is it? A job? Community service? Was I performing unauthorized access to joy?

Nobody is controlled by logic or rationality, men or women. This is why men watch sports and why women watch soap operas. All mind control and propaganda is based on emotional manipulation. Triggering love and hate is what controls minds, not logic and rationality. Women seek men who make them feel something whether it’s love or hate. Boredom is the ultimate sin in manipulation. Appealing to emotion is the most logical and rational thing to do.
