The School Bus Stopping Law requires that all motorists stop at least 10 feet away from school buses when their red lights flash & their stop arm is out β whether behind a bus, meeting a bus, or approaching a bus. Know the law. Keep children safe. #OperationSafeStop

Since the Countyβs Stop-Arm Camera program began, local school buses have caught 2,249 violations. On #OperationSafeStop day, weβre reminding drivers once again that if they pass a stopped school bus you will be caught & fined.
