Yep. That was always a flaw of their study design. I predicted this would happen. And it’s why, when designing the upcoming @OptigoBio Ph 2 trial, I deliberately didn’t copy their design of using 2 Eylea loading doses between Screening & Baseline to weed out the poor responders. Rigging trials for the best responders to your drug benefits the control arm as well.

Yes. For people who are artists and photographers I typically recommend avoiding multi focal lenses because the better near vision comes at a price: degraded distance vision and halos/glare.

Thanks! Yes, but I wanted better vision and yes, I paid out-of-pocket for one multifocal lens. My understanding is my natural lens was removed and replaced. It was done about 7 years ago.

Oy so sorry!! So you got a multi focal lens implant after cataract surgery? That’s one of the problems. They cost a lot but they’re NOT for everyone. And you out of pocket for it. Unethical to push them on everyone.
