The fact the Spurs would take double digit leads in the 1Q and then get outplayed each quarter after suggest Knicks coach outcoached the Spurs coach. Knicks made adjustments and Spurs double down on the same or made too small of adjustments. Spurs were shooting bad...they needed to attack the rim more.

Portugal s just a collection of some great random players but never a great team. Their coach can be outcoached by any decent coach

Eakins got outcoached in the german finals. I don't see him as a great guy with young talent. I mean... He's coaching my hometown team 😅 Not the biggest fan of his whole persona tbh

DQ's just not an elite HC. He should stick to being a DC. Almost every HC in the league is better. Few teams, if any, would hire him as their HC. He just continues to spew bullshit answers that he thinks make sense and gets outcoached all the time

Of course he was outcoached. He's a terrible coach. His job in Vegas was to get out of the way and not doing anything stupid to ruin the team's momentum. He nearly succeeded.

They don’t make the Final without him. They might have won with someone else coaching the Final. Really slow to react and outcoached. Ironically, what happened to Cassidy in Boston in 2019.

People are not talking enough about Brown. Thought he outcoached the SA staff in every game. SA might have better game plans, but during the games, Brown dominated.

Torts did a terrific job but once he was outcoached in The Cup Final the writing was on the wall

Please stop with the Thibs stuff. He created a positive infrastructure and that’s it. In the last 3 years he was the single biggest impediment to playoffs success. Drove them into ground. Poor in game coaching. No bench use. He was dramatically outcoached in every series but one.

Tell me one player you think earned anything close to what Jeremiah Smith earned. Indiana was nowhere competitive in terms of recruiting ranks, thus their players weren’t highly coveted, thus a lot cheaper. Day got outcoached with a much more talented roster

Exactly. Its easier to win in the regular season than against the top teams and coaches in the league. When that happens he loses. He gets outcoached. Hes not a playoff riser. Hes just a guy who wears vans and has funny glasses. Yaaay youre getting it. Im So proud.

If you followed the Knicks at all this season, you'd know this is what they do. Coach got outcoached and the players got outplayed. Both can be true and that's okay.

Most of these national teams will be heading for an early exit—not because they lack talent, but because of questionable squad selections and poor starting XI decisions from their coaches. We saw a perfect example with Spain yesterday. The team looked unbalanced from the first whistle, key players were either left out or deployed in unfamiliar roles, and the lack of chemistry was evident throughout the match. At major tournaments, one wrong lineup can cost you valuable points, and sometimes qualification itself. The margins are razor-thin at this level. Coaches who ignore form players, stick with underperforming favorites, or get their tactical setup wrong often pay the price. Talent alone doesn't win tournaments—selection, balance, and game management are just as important. As the competition progresses, don't be surprised if several big-name nations crash out, not because they were outplayed, but because they were outcoached.
