Yup. A few ‘pilot programs’ who place disproportionate resources into it so CMS will call it a success and if we’re lucky force it on the rest of us like they do everything else without any financial support to do so-thus further enabling corporate healthcare.

The model is not the problem - the level of payment is.

This is a big step in the right direction! Integrating behavioral health with primary care not only improves outcomes but also makes it easier for patients to get the support they need. Let’s hope more insurers and providers follow this trend it’s long overdue.
