This morning, we had our sixth PIT2Work cohort graduation, proving that PIT is redefining what airports can do to support their communities. This workforce development initiative has had 90 participants in the 16 months since it launched and an over 80% placement rate 👏

This is Troy, who is now in the running for Apprentice of the Year after completing the Introduction to Construction Trades program through PIT2Work. We often talk about our work as a White House Workforce Hub, but we don't talk enough about the lives impacted by this work.

Our CEO Christina Cassotis spent the morning with local and federal leaders– including @Innamo, @ActSecJulieSu, @SecCardona, and @gainey_ed– to talk about building a strong workforce in Pittsburgh. PIT2Work graduate Lisa Gilmore joined Christina to talk about how the program changed her life.
