Remind me where the US press appears in a league table of press freedom?

FIFA has issued approximately 16,000 media accreditations for the current tournament, with industry and press freedom groups estimating that as many as 50,000 journalists and media workers may ultimately cover the event across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Shame shame shame on the FIFA for staying largely silent on israel’s crimes against athletes in Gaza. And shame on international journalists who spoke no words about Gaza or never protested their media’s complicity in the genocide.

Netherlands are certainly one of the favourites for the World Cup, but Japan are undoubtedly one of the toughest teams to play against. The way they press and never give up no matter the result like kamikaze soldiers is something to keep in mind. I predict a draw

Memo to the press: When a president is elected by the People and then does what he promised to do, that’s democracy. When a president is thwarted by unelected bureaucrats, that’s oligarchy. President Trump refuses to bend the knee to that oligarchy. Buckle up!

The only response so far from Eric Conn, Brian Sauvé, or New Christendom Press about the table of books from America’s best-known Nazi publisher promoting Adolf Hitler, “Noble Nordic Blood,” with a list of “pro-white businesses” that included porn, tarot cards, and Nordic cults.
Brian Sauvé and Eric Conn of Refuge Cuurch Ogden are hosting America’s foremost Neonazi, explicitly pro Adolf Hitler publishing house at their New Christendom Press conference. Anyone denying that Ogden was down with Nazism was wrong. Antelope Hill has on their table at the conference speeches by Adolf Hitler, and the memoirs of an SS officer. New Christendom Press also publishes PCA Pastor Zachary Garris and antisemite Andrew Isker.

Uh oh… so the Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby lied too? SHOCKER! March 9, 2022: John Kirby was asked if there was any truth whatsoever to Russia’s claims that the U.S. was developing biological labs in Ukraine “It’s absurd. It’s laughable— We are not.. NOT developing biological or chemical weapons inside Ukraine. It’s not happening.” DNI Tulsi Gabbard just declassified information vindicating Russia and proving John Kirby to be a liar and a traitor to the United States of America. They are all FOOKED! rumble.com/v7b8bnk-pentagon-…
Uh oh… so the DNI lied too? March 10, 2022… the Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines went on record stating the Russian claims of the U.S. conducting biological weapons research in "biolabs" across Ukraine was not true. DNI Gabbard just declassified information proving her a liar and a traitor to the United States of America. It’s all over for them. They know it. And Marco Rubio played them like a fiddle to get them all on record. rumble.com/v7b88ui-dna-avril…

🚨🗣️New: Thierry Henry reacts to the Brazil, Morocco, and Netherlands press conferences, where questions in Spanish were reportedly not permitted for Hakimi, Vinícius Jr., and Frenkie de Jong: “I have covered World Cups for years, and this situation makes absolutely no sense to me. You’re telling me a World Cup co-hosted by Mexico can stop journalists from asking questions in Spanish? That’s like hosting a Formula 1 race and banning cars from using their engines. We saw it with Hakimi. We saw it with Vinícius. Now we’re hearing similar stories involving Frenkie de Jong. The players understood the questions. The journalists spoke one of the most widely spoken languages on the planet. Yet somehow the language became the problem. Gianni Infantino talks about inclusion, diversity, and bringing football to everyone. Fine. Then explain this contradiction. How can FIFA celebrate diversity in every promotional video and then create headlines because Spanish journalists are being told to switch languages at a tournament hosted by Mexico? Spanish isn’t some obscure dialect spoken by a handful of people. It’s the language of hundreds of millions across the Americas and beyond. If a journalist from Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, or anywhere else asks a question in Spanish and the player understands it, why is football creating barriers where none existed? The irony is unbelievable. FIFA keeps telling us football belongs to everyone, but this controversy has many fans asking whether some voices are more welcome than others. Maybe there’s a logistical explanation. Maybe it’s a translation issue. But perception matters. And right now the perception is terrible. Because what fans are seeing is simple: a World Cup hosted partly by a Spanish-speaking nation, players who understand Spanish, journalists who speak Spanish, and officials telling them not to use Spanish. If that’s progress, somebody needs to explain it better. Because from the outside, it looks like football’s governing body is tripping over its own message.” “FIFA wanted a celebration of diversity. Instead, they’ve handed the internet a controversy that won’t stop being discussed.”

Yes, words do matter. The press uses their words to twist reality, deny the truth and protect those they favor. When someone speaks the truth, you shouldn't worry about the delivery. It's the message being purveyed. Get over the pearl clutching emotions. Truth matters, even when it's not what you'd prefer to hear.
