• >3 prep meetings the few weeks before
• 3x check-in on an emotion, a concern, and an achievement
• Pick a buzzy morning location☕️ & a quiet room for the final push

12) Preparation was key. Everyone's hard work ahead of time (reading, brainstorming, outlining) helped us write, write, write. #PaperInADay wouldn't have worked without good prep. Having an agenda for writing day helped too. We hit the ground running (or, ahem, writing)

11) Writing with others & having clear research goals for each pomodoro kept us accountable and productive.
The type of paper we wrote (tutorial / case study) was a great fit for #PaperInADay : it was a lot of reflection, personal experience, rather than in & out of lit review

9) writing is done for the day! We have an almost complete paper, and a list of small tasks to complete in the next week or so.

Discussed during the break issues around consistent use of language (virtual vs online vs remote) to help us stick to “one voice” throughout the paper.
