In 2021, 17% of the respondents indicated that they had participated in policy formulation processes. Of those who had participated in policy formulation, 47% were women and 39% were between the ages of 18 and 35.

3/3 The voices of ordinary people, incl. a group of young women, are being heard in the redesign of Dunga and Dundori Roads through #HerCityHerStreets, and in #GoDownTransforms. A model of working which can be replicated in design elsewhere. #ParticipatoryProcesses@joy_mboya
Already, over 180 community members have participated in about 20 activities. In particular, a primary group of young women have been responsible for gathering data on the streets, as well as suggesting proposals of how to improve the streets. #ParticipatoryProcesses
