Passed my boards this June. Most helpful resources: our group reviewed Board vitals, ASCP 4 years QB, Pathdojo, Oslers and Kurt notes. I found the most useful to be these : Pathdojo - complete at least 2 times CP Compendium read at least 2 times, esp Hematopathology, Microbiology and Chemistry Windy city review : @KMirza is king of review PhillyPath review. Questions, questions, QUESTIONS! I went through @BoardVitals until I got every question correct. I also dabbled in @PathDojo (good vWF multimer questions, if memory serves me well). Lefkowitch (AP) and Spitalnik (CP) are good if not too old.

I used Kurt notes, Osler and CP compendium . Q banks are very important, especially Pathdojo and ASCP. Good luck

I did them last year but my prep was notes I had made from ExpertPath (the key blurbs at the top of each article), images from webpathology (GOLDEN!), PathDojo (GOLDEN!), the CP compendium and a local review course a few weeks before the test. At this stage, do questions x1000!

Kurt's notes: useful for the final weeks before taking AP boards Chicago board review is super helpful, last May22 was via Zoom. My Q bank preference: pathdojo>ASCP >>>pathprimer CP compendium (Mais): I read it 3 times, last time was one month before CP board

Read the ASCP CP Compendium more than once (and learn it). I also did PathPrimer, PathDojo, listened to the @bloodbankguy lectures, Dr. Morgan's lectutres for micro, I did Osler Review Course...maybe I overdid it, but I passed ☺

I preferred PathDojo in my final weeks before the AP/CP Boards. Quick high yield questions to keep you sharp.

I have found pathprimer the best uptill now, pathdojo is too straight forward and ascp bank is too complicated

@KurtSchaberg is miraculous 🪄👌

there were two study resources that were particularly high yield. 1) Kurt’s Notes although not comprehensive we’re very useful. 🙏🙏 @KurtSchaberg 2)ASCP RQB question bank. I did the 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 RQB’s. A close second was @PathDojo. I tried path primer too but found

Thanks! For Q banks I think pathdojo and ascp Qbanks are the best.

ASCP RQB and PathDojo

PathPrimer (which includes and exceeds the content of Lefkowitch) seems to be the best single resource. I am combining that with video lectures. In my view, PathDojo is good for quick review of simpler concepts. ASCP Qbank scope seems to be a little weird.

I liked Osler and PathPrimer the best. I used PathDojo as a secondary study aid but I didn’t like it as much as PathPrimer. Just my two cents 😁

@PathDojo - Currently, they have ~60 virtual slides that provide a similar exam experience, with the exception that @PathDojo often had multiple untimed questions per slide (great for learning!), while the actual Board exam only has 1 question per slide (3 min per question).

ASCP Resident Question Bank - ascp.org/content This is another great Q bank that I would recommend using after PathDojo and PathPrimer, but it has some important limitations outlined below:
