I always worry about missing #AIS on #papsmear (s). Then I see one and am reminded of the ABUNDANCE of material with classic features:
☢️elongated hyperchromatic nuclei
🦅feathering
🍳saucepan handles (elongated cytoplasm)
🤪crazy pavement (disorganised)

From this morning's sign-out - A gorgeous "whorly" appearance of mucin on Pap stain from a pancreatic bed FNA. The patient is status-post Whipple for m-diff adenocarcinoma with mucinous features.
🔬🧑🏫 Lessons in Pathology: The reason why we submit the appendix tip in appendectomy specimens... Sometimes you will find a neuroendocrine tumor, like in this case!
So always look carefully and don't forget!

On Urine Cyto, they can look quite large and be multinucleated

Pyloric gland adenoma in uninflamed gastric body. There is an association with autoimmune gastritis (pyloric metaplasia progressing to pyloric adenoma) but this patient does not have it. Note the appearance of the surface of the adenoma versus the adjoining foveolar epithelium.
Case of Sebaceous Pattern 🔬
This rare pattern of invasive ductal carcinoma displays prominent sebaceous differentiation. The tumor must arise within the breast proper rather than cutaneous adnexal structures to be appropriately diagnosed.

Latter does not; but has higher mite count and WITH nuclear/architectural features of PTC or Follicular carcinoma.
Prognosis of Latter can be worse
