The National Civil Society Dialogue on Inclusive Governance and Political Settlement in Somalia officially opened in Mogadishu, organized by the @SONSA_NSA. On its first day, the dialogue focused on listening to diverse perspectives from the Federal Government of Somalia and political actors from the Somali Future Council. During the presentations by government ministers and representatives of the Somali Future Council, members of civil society raised critical questions regarding their positions on the constitutional, the electoral model, and the peaceful transfer of power. The conference, which will run for three days, will see civil society participants analyze the responses and presentations over the next two days, with the aim of identifying common ground and consensus-based solutions.
