My suggestions for remedies to help you get by:
1. This is going to be a long struggle. So, its better to always be aware of this and accept it and make necessary adjustments to your life and plans. Too often Ive been too eager to be well. I'd feel good for a day and start liftjng gqrbqge or groceries bags, only to hurt myself and take 2 steps back in my recovery. So, this point is crucial.
2. Vitamin D3 1000 IU once daily (its been the best thin Ive taken...seems to help relax the heart muscle and it helps aleviate some of that chest pain for some reason)
3. Walk, walk and walk some more! I walk twice a day...works best for me... 1hr at 6am and 1.5hr during the day or afternoon. But pls start small...I started with 10-15min and gradually increased.
4. Avoid layjng down a lot evwn though this is often unavoidable. I prop myself on the bed with pillows behind my back while sitting with legs outstretched. Avoid dangling feet. I unfortunately developed acid reflux on top of my heart issue due to laying down after eating...and it doesnt hwlp when you go to the hospital...they'll jus assume acid reflux is the cause of all your problems (by thw way, doctors jus want to send you home...absolutely useless.)
5. Avoid prolonged use of phone, computer, etc! I found out that these also make chest pain worse most prob because nerves get affected once your heart has issues and brwathing patterns are known to affected when we use these electeonic devices...we hold our breath too often esp when typing. Bitter pill to swallow but it helps.
6. Change to a healthy diet if you havnt already. I personally found out that red meat, pizza, spicy and any other food with high sodium/salt content are devastating. They elevate blood pressure which means your sore heart muscle gets worse. I only eat chicken cos I need meat😊...I just cook it plain or jus use half a stock cube...no frying jus use a littlw water, its delicious.
I tried a vegan diet of lentils, chick peas, etc. It helped but I couldnt take it after a month
..jus wanted some meat! I guess you can switch back and forth. safe to say I wont be eating lentils anytime soon 😊.
7. You need to rest! By that I mean dont do ANYTHING! Dont read a book, watch a movie or use your phone or the internet for most of your day. It sucks but thats a chance for you to walk...visit someone and walk some more. Ive walked so much I think people think Im crazy womdering around...but hey it will give you better sleep
...better sleep=healing! I cannot emphasize restjng enough guys...you like need to be alone or mediate and think about life that type of thing...like meditation but not quite. Im blessed to be in Canada and we have a lot of nature, parks and a good grewn back yard...I just sit on a bench and listen to thw birds.
8. Avoid stress and people that bring it even though its often not easy. I found my symptoms are worse when Im upset or stressed...this one is a no brainer but i had to put it as well. Try to surround yourself with love.
9. No sex, masturbating or stimulation of any sort. I guess stimukants like drugs and marijuana are a no too. Doctors say sex is the equivalent of running up some stairs and def dont want to be doing that amount of cardio. You want to rest the heart as much as possible.
10. Follow online forums and get tips on how other peoplehelp themselves cos we're diff. I like
healthnlocked.com even though its heavily censored on issues pertaining to the covid juice.
