Good question. Strategic alignment isn't a one-time checkbox. It's dynamic. Our environment evolves—new competitors, leadership shifts, market demands, regulatory changes... all of these can tilt the organization's priorities.

Makes sense. So, what triggers you to reassess strategic alignment?

A few critical factors:
📈 Shift in organizational strategy or goals — A new corporate strategy may redefine what 'success' looks like.
🌍 Market or external environment changes — Economic shifts, new technologies, or competitor moves can alter priorities.
👥 Leadership or stakeholder changes — New decision-makers often bring new visions or focus areas.
🔄 Major program risks or issues — When critical risks materialize, they may force a reevaluation of whether the program is still the best path.
🧠 Emerging opportunities — Sometimes, new opportunities arise mid-way that are more valuable than the original benefits we aimed for.
🛠️ Operational feedback — Early deliverables may reveal that assumptions need rethinking.
🔎 Periodic governance reviews — Built-in governance checkpoints are essential opportunities to validate alignment.

I see. It's less about managing the program in isolation, and more about managing the program in context.
