THE PHYSICS THAT POWERS THE PERFORMANCE:
Itski makes it look like he can literally “switch off gravity” — look at his head between 3 and 8 seconds, and again between 15 and 19.
What he’s actually doing is rotating his body around his center of mass.
Once airborne, his center of mass follows a perfect parabolic arc while he simultaneously rotates his body around it.
By keeping his head at or near the axis of rotation, he creates a mesmerizing zero-gravity illusion.
It’s a stunning example of the law of conservation of angular momentum, in action.
