The implication is that the only difference between an atheist and a monotheist (such as a Christian) is the DEGREE of God-belief (the atheists believes in the same number of gods the Christian does, MINUS ONE). But in reality (and quite obviously), the difference in belief is one of KIND—not merely of degree. An atheist DOES NOT believe in the supernatural. A Christian DOES. So, enough playing with words.
