I believe implementation of the law is what going to curb the menace.

Great move but other mechanisms need to be put in place to ensure this works. Our judiciary and prisons system is very flawed, judges taking bribes to prolong cases, prison officials swapping innocent citizens for the guilty ones. Right step but still much to do done IMO

The issue is will the governors sign the death warrant? . I think if something can be put in place as an alternative to governors signing the warrants, this bill will go a long way in curbing the rape menace in the country. #pollittweetchat #pollitconversation

The #NotTooYoungToRun bill was just a sham to stop the young people from getting agitated, I do not see it being implemented anytime soon and we have a long way to go to achieve gender parity in Nigeria.

Looks like everyone has given up on this cabinet. If we are not expecting anything, we wont be dissapointed yh? But then they also know that if they do not perform then life goes on as usual, its just sad!

It would have been easier to share my thoughts on the nominees if i knew their exact portfolios. Imagine interviewing candidates for a job role you don't know. Very poor!

Lets sports and football particularly be managed by private investors just the way it is done in Europe. Having private investors invest in our sports industry will help improve facilities and production of good athletes. Also our football should be managed by ex footballers.

I will subscribe to subsidized education if handled properly. We can get the right quality from these schools if the government focus on the existing ones, have a feasible long term plan and maintain them properly instead of building unnecessary new ones

I don't think this should be the 1st qstn to be asked or comparism to be made. The qstn shld be what value is placed by the govnmt and the people on educatn? Even with quality education, will the structures put in place support graduates? Then we can move forward from there!

I'll rather pay more for quality now. Where has the cheap education taken us to anyway?

The subsidized 'cheap' education that some of us had access to in the past isn't the same anymore. The standard has fallen.

I would pay more for quality education,a lot of Nigerians have gone abroad in pursuit of knowledge due to the fact that our system isn't producing sound graduates, this cheap education isn't really paying off tbh @OgbeniDipo while relaxing frm yr break, could you weigh in on this
