And guess what? If you catch COVID while pregnant, the stakes are higher. Increased risk of preterm birth, low birth weight, stillbirth, NICU stays… and possible long-term neurodevelopmental issues, including autism. This isn’t speculation by the way, it’s science.

Actually disagree with this Some women deserve to be honoured Especially when they have supported other women I’ve been fighting for change and helping to prevent women and babies dying I wasn’t on the honours list Doubt I ever will be but I did take this recognition from the King Because someone I looked after nominated us In my opinion it’s not a celebration when my baby daughter died When women still aren’t being heard Often said to my partner, maybe I get taken more seriously if I get a MBE/OBE I work as a volunteer I given 16 years of my life to other women I now know, this will never happen But if it did I would pick it up in memory of my baby daughter Sinead For all those women who faced a preterm birth For all those mums who lost their babies For women who aren’t here any more Because if getting this, highlights awareness of our work Means we aren’t invisible to all I spoke in the House of Lords and the got excluded from the final report I will continue to fight and get changes so the care I got never ever happens to another woman @PpromAwarenessU Never a celebration but it’s awareness in our view Oh and my email was ignored from the maternity inquiry So I don’t trust they wish to actually learn

Valid Empathy Suffering serendipstudio.org/local/sci… Thalamocortical fibers begin appearing between 23 to 30 weeks’ gestational age, while electroencephalography suggests the capacity for functional pain perception in preterm neonates probably does not exist before 29 or 30 weeks.
