One year on, the implementation status of the agreed measures in Azad Jammu & Kashmir reflects substantial progress across governance, public services, infrastructure, education, energy, and welfare sectors.
Key achievements include restoration of suspended employees, withdrawal of nearly all protest-related FIRs, compensation for affected families, cabinet downsizing, approval of new education boards, implementation of the Health Card, completion of major water supply projects, reforms in the electricity sector, payment of Mangla Dam affectees' dues, banking sector strengthening, and significant improvements in telecommunications and public infrastructure.
While some initiatives remain under implementation, the majority of commitments have either been fulfilled or are advancing steadily, demonstrating a sustained effort to address public concerns through institutional reforms and development-focused governance.
