Call for Papers: Special Issue on Semiconductor Lasers The IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics is now accepting submissions for an upcoming Special Issue on Semiconductor Lasers. This issue will highlight advances in semiconductor laser technologies, integration, and applications across photonics research and industry. Topics include: • High-power and high-efficiency semiconductor lasers • Narrow-linewidth and low-noise lasers • VCSELs, micro- and nano-cavity lasers • Quantum dot, quantum-dash, and quantum cascade lasers • Integrated semiconductor lasers for PICs and co-packaged optics • Applications in optical communications, sensing, LiDAR, and microwave photonics …and more.
