Radar for national defense. Radiation therapy for public health. Research in nuclear science, materials, food and environmental safety solutions, and training youth. All were born from a partnership among a brilliant mind, generations of his students, a university, and a government that, over decades, valued the power of investing in science. 8/10

“Curiosity is the force that transforms deadly cancers into treatable conditions… that turns fusion energy from a dream to a reality…that uncovers new ways to grow more food using less of every resource,” says MIT President Sally Kornbluth. #CuriosityOnAMission

“Immunotherapies are possible today only because thousands of scientists, for more than 40 years, followed their curiosity to probe the immune system’s deep processes. Without basic scientific research, supported by the kind of farsighted public investment that allows large-scale, undirected, curiosity-driven inquiry, the scientific pipeline will run dry.” — MIT President Sally Kornbluth statnews.com/2026/05/27/scie…

25 years ago, @MIT opened its curriculum to the world. 🌍 Today, @MITOCW has reached 500M learners, inspired a global open education movement, and made 2,500 courses freely available online. Now, with the launch of MIT Learn — the Institute's hub for lifelong learning — and Open Learning's goal of reaching 1 billion learners in the next decade, the next chapter of open education is already taking shape. Explore AnyFlow for any step distillation, accelerating video diffusion model inference:
🚀 We are excited to announce the release of AnyFlow, the first any-step video diffusion on-policy distillation (OPD) framework. By leveraging Flow Map distillation, AnyFlow significantly enhances model inference efficiency by reducing sample steps. (Code, models, and demos are now open-source!) Key Highlights: ⚡ Any-Step Generation: Unlike traditional distilled models tied to fixed step budgets, AnyFlow enables a single model to adapt to arbitrary inference budgets. It achieves high-quality few-step generation while providing stable improvements as more sampling steps are added. 🔀 Multiple Architectures: AnyFlow supports any-step distillation for both causal and bidirectional video diffusion models. 🎬 Multiple Tasks: AnyFlow supports Text-to-Video, Image-to-Video, and Video-to-Video generation within one causal video diffusion model. 📈 Scalable Performance: AnyFlow is validated from 1.3B up to 14B parameters. 📄 Paper: huggingface.co/papers/2605.1… 💻 Code: github.com/NVlabs/AnyFlow 🎨 Pre-trained Models: huggingface.co/collections/n… 🎬 Demo: nvlabs.github.io/AnyFlow/dem…
