#QuestionJavid Why do you think a ft lone parent carer that saves the state well over the £114k average/yr should live their entire life on benefits £6k limit? Rather than pay exp carers or ask more families to care for benefits, isn't it time to pay carers for life of dignity?

@CommonsHealth Please ask 🆘 why the @nhs_pensions abatement is not being extended? At a time when the NHS is challenged & the workforce under greater pressure retired NHS staff will have to reduce working hours or see their pensions cut @gdcuk @theRCN @patcullen9 #QuestionJavid

#QuestionJavid. My 9yo wants to know when he’ll get a vax? He understands kids can get LongCovid He knows kids overseas who’re double jabbed. He knows the virus is ripping through primaries, w/ ZERO mitigations He doesn’t want to become a LongCovid statistic.

#QuestionJavid guidance recently changed so that positive LFT do not need to be confirmed by PCR, possibly to relieve pressure on the testing system. Given the WHO warnings about monitoring for new VOC, when will PCR confirmation be reinstated, if at all?

#QuestionJavid is it the case that daily confirmed case statistics do not include 2nd or 3rd reinfections? Does Mr Javid agree that it would help get a truer perspective on covid burden if these were included?

#QuestionJavid as we see an increase of hospitalisation amongst children with the omicron wave, does Mr Javid agree with Mr Zahawi’s no NPI approach to schools. For example, is it not time to reintroduce contact tracing in schools & increase isolation support

#QuestionJavid with increasing cases of covid comes more suffering Long Covid, including children. As the HS has appointed a CEO from the finance sector for NHS England, how does he envisage the growth in long term disability being dealt with by an increasingly marketised NHS?

#QuestionJavid as we deal with yet more high rates of infection in schools, ⬆️ amongst primary school children we also have the alarming prospect of zero community mitigation in March. Will the HS double his efforts to 💉 children ASAP, in time for the absence of any protection

#QuestionJavid can Mr Javid confirm the number of cases of PIMS-TS recorded in children in the UK since the start of the pandemic, whether these have occurred at an increased rate since freedom day. Can he confirm what follow up support is made available & prognosis.

Shocking. Independence in healthcare incident investigations is a non-negotiable and the role of an independent such as HSIB in maternity investigations was a positive step forwards. This needs sorting out urgently. An issue for @CommonsHealth tomorrow #QuestionJavid?
I understand the @DHSCgovuk is planning to strip HSIB of its maternity incident investigations role - something many parents have found essential to learning the truth - what happens next to this work and its independence is crucial.
